The next step for Le Colombié
We are delighted to share that Le Colombié is preparing to enter its third generation.
Together with Arne and Silke, we plan to take over and continue running the farm over the coming years. Patrick, Chloé and I are accompanying this transition together, as a family.
Many of you already know our history of Le Colombié, and for many it has become a familiar and meaningful place. Precisely for this reason, it is important to us to share this step openly and to accompany it with transparency.
Our plans for the coming years
This generational transition comes with concrete projects that are intended to enrich Le Colombié in a thoughtful and coherent way.
Patrick would like to bring his passion for gastronomy to life at Le Colombié. We therefore plan to open a table d’hôtes, offering intimate dinners featuring regional products including organic Galloway beef from the farm.
We also wish to further develop the wine cellar, with the aim of offering a carefully curated selection of wines and champagnes, complemented by small tastings for curious guests.
The existing holiday homes will of course continue to be maintained and developed. In addition, we are considering smaller accommodation units such as tiny houses, so that guests travelling in smaller groups can also enjoy a stay with us.
Looking ahead with openness
A generational transition of this scale also involves significant financial investments and loans, requiring a substantial amount of equity.
For this reason, we are grateful for any form of support — whether direct, through contacts, or by sharing our project with others.
Anyone who would like to support us directly can do so via our crowdfunding link.
Above all, we are very much looking forward to the years ahead and to continuing and developing Le Colombié together, with you.
